Immersive Storytelling Academy
with a Pan-African Lens
in partnership with PUSD
A transformative program that blends storytelling, culture, and technology to empower students.
Coming in 2025
We are actively developing the Immersive Storytelling Academy curriculum and professional learning program in preparation for our inaugural cohort of 6th grade students at McKinley Middle School during the 2025–2026 school year.
This marks the first step in a multi-year journey to reimagine education through a Pan-African lens, grounded in storytelling, cultural empowerment, and emerging technologies.
Why It Matters…
Academic Growth Through Cultural Relevance
By embedding Math, English, and History in storytelling and cultural exploration, students engage deeply and connect learning to their lives and identities.
Critical Thinking Meets Creativity
Students tell meaningful stories—oral, written, and digital—that honor Pan-African history while building communication, problem-solving, and innovation skills.
Preparing Future-Ready Students
Hands-on experiences with VR, AR, and 360° video equip students with digital literacy and storytelling skills to thrive in an evolving, tech-driven world.
